Design Analysis Engineer

We are currently seeking a senior digital Design Analysis Engineer for our Patent Intelligence (PI) business unit. Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, the Design Analysis Engineer is responsible for reverse engineering the circuits and analyzing semiconductor devices and patents for the purpose of supporting PI clients.
The role’s primary deliverables will include:
- Performing reverse engineering of state-of-the art integrated circuits using Chipworks proprietary software tools
- Analyzing and documenting patent use on reverse engineered products
- Technical consulting on licensing potential of client’s patent portfolio
The ideal candidate will have a University Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computing Science and a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the area of digital design in semiconductor industry including silicon implementation. Understanding of physical implementation process and methodologies, including layout on transistor and cell level is a must. Verilog and /or VHDL language is a plus.
